Security CCTV, Burglar & Fire Alarm Installation Technician - Fairfield, NJ

Homeland Security & Life Safety Systems, LLC is growing rapidly and looking for an experienced technician to install in the electronic security industry. Commercial burglar alarm, fire alarm, IP CCTV, intercom, and access control systems. Candidate must be proficient at installing and using a digital multi-meter, network tester, IP camera addressing, hand tools and power tools, and running wires and network cabling. TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• High School Diploma or Tech School Certification
• Continually learn new products, upgrades and software programs related to low voltage systems
• Installing low voltage security systems in a new and old construction commercial, banking and retail environment
• Read and understand floor plans
• Terminating and installing security, CCTV and Access devices
• Testing/troubleshooting system issues
• Pulling Fiber and Cat6
• Responsible for maintaining company vehicle's inventory

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Valid New Jersey driver's license
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a field technician trouble shooting CCTV and alarm systems
• Terminating RJ-45 Cat6/Cat5 modules
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on heights (scissor, boom lifts and ladders)
• Must be able to climb, crawl and raise objects overhead
