Sales Representative

Ludington Beverage is looking for an energetic, dependable, and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for managing and growing a combination of on-premise and off-premise accounts throughout an assigned territory while representing our portfolio of beer, wine, mixed spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our Sales Representatives build relationships, identify opportunities, solve problems, and work alongside our customers to grow their business and ours. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers – from bars and restaurants to grocery, convenience, and other retail accounts. What You'll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout an assigned sales territory. Manage a combination of on-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, etc.) and off-premise accounts (grocery, convenience, and other retail locations). Sell and promote our portfolio of beer, wine, mixed spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Regularly visit assigned accounts according to established sales routes and schedules. Identify opportunities to grow sales, distribution, shelf space, displays, menu placements, and overall brand visibility. Present new products, seasonal offerings, promotions, and supplier programs to customers. Build accurate orders based on customer needs, inventory levels, sales trends, and upcoming opportunities. Work with customers to maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing out-of-stocks and aged products. Monitor competitive activity and communicate relevant market trends and opportunities. Work closely with delivery, merchandising, sales leadership, and supplier partners to provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate account, sales, and product information using company-provided sales technology. Represent the company and our supplier partners professionally throughout the market. Schedule & Territory This is a full-time, primarily Monday–Friday position. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Sales Representatives spend the majority of their workday in the market visiting customer accounts within their assigned territory. A company vehicle will be provided for business use in accordance with company vehicle policies. The position requires regular travel throughout the assigned sales territory. What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A self-motivated individual who can effectively manage a territory and daily schedule. Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Sales or customer service experience preferred. Comfortable learning and representing a large and diverse product portfolio. Ability to recognize sales opportunities and use sales information to make recommendations to customers. Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, email, and sales-related technology. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including occasionally lifting and moving beverage products, displays, and point-of-sale materials. Must be 18 years of age or older.
