Process Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking aProcess Engineerto provide hands-on engineering support across all plant operations. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting maintenance and quality functions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Engineer will spend time on the shop floor, proactively identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and process stability—rather than reacting to issues.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support across all plant operationsIdentify process improvement opportunities proactively and implement corrective and preventive actionsSpend approximately 80% of time on the shop floor supporting productionSupport night and weekend shifts as needed through flexible schedulingImplement improvements that impact hourly performance metricsDevelop and maintain SOPs and work instructions; support training for production personnelAnalyze and challenge cycle times and production rates to improve productivityIdentify, monitor, and improve key process indicators for stainless-steel tubing productionApply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologiesSolve manufacturing problems using DMAIC problem-solving strategiesSupport process modifications, revisions, deviations, and improvement projectsCollaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure stable and capable processesQualifications – Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceEngineering background preferred in welding, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing processesMinimum of three years of related manufacturing engineering experienceStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and testing technologies, specifically metal forming and weldingProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with ERP systems; Minitab experience preferredWorking knowledge of Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, and Control PlansStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsHighly accountable and results-orientedWhat we offer:A dynamic, flexible culture, that promotes collaboration and professional/ personal growth of each team memberTo be a part of a well-established team that values hard work, innovation & knows the value of its peopleCoaching and mentoring, helping team members realize their potential, aiding in defining goals and executing themWe have an aggressive growth strategy; Making way for ample advancement opportunities to transition into operations and/or direct managementCompetitive base packageContinuous training - we are firm believers that a strong, knowledgeable, well-trained staff is the reason we are at the top of our field, having continued successCompetitive health-care packageLooking forward getting to know you...
