Now Hiring Sanitor Associates in Elk Grove Village, IL

Job Title : Sanitor
Location : Elk Grove Village IL
Pay : $19.00/hr.-
Shift: 2nd shift. - 2:00pm -12:30am Monday -Friday

Responsibilities

• Replenish supplies, clean restrooms, mop floors, empty trash and replace liners, and all other duties entailing housekeeping.
• Know and use appropriate cleaning chemicals.  Use chemical dispensing stations.  Know how to perform titrations.
• Ability to safely handle full strength chemicals using full PPE.
• Ability to use drum washer and closet washer to maintain cleaning schedule for drums, trays, and lids.
• Support adverse events, such as drain backups, etc.
• Ability to operate all sanitation equipment, follows safety guidelines
• Removing debris from the warehouse and walkways of the facility throughout the shift.  Reusable scrap is separated. Bales cardboard and plastic for recycling.
• Cleans floors using mop and bucket as well as a walk behind or riding floor scrubber.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, and locker rooms, rugs, carpet and other work areas.
• Performs grounds maintenance in all seasons, this will include removing snow, trash or spillage from plant grounds.
