Customer Quality Engineer

Your Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and report customer performance, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.Collaborate with customers on new process approvals and process changes.Perform FAI/PPAP activities and customer-delegated DQR responsibilities.Maintain customer visit and audit schedules.Support audits, process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement efforts.Monitor and improve supplier and customer KPIs.Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of nonconformances.Resolve customer technical issues promptly to maintain supply continuity.Support long-term customer relationships and cost reduction initiatives.Travel as needed to support customers and job responsibilities.Support achievement of local and global KPIs.Communicate effectively and promote company policies, procedures, and mission.Comply with export control, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.Promote Lean principles and continuous improvement within the team.Your QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated competencyStrong ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsResults-oriented with a strong customer service mindsetKnowledge of AIAG tools and related industry standards, including PPAP, APQP, QSA, MSA, SPC, and FMEAApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorshipThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleePreferred:Background in a manufacturing or similar environmentProven success working in both functional and cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with ERP systems, preferably SAPKnowledge of AS9100 is considered an assetOur OfferingAt Schaeffler, our success is driven by our employees.
