Warehouse Associate is responsible for movement of equipment and materials in the facility – coordinating with various departments on delivery of equipment from Inbound to QC departments and storing equipment on shelves for later picking for orders and projects.Essential functionsAssist in loading and unloading of equipment in conjunction with the Outbound and Inbound coordinatorResponsible for flow of equipment from Inbound to Departments for QCResponsible for movement of equipment in building from departments to storage area and pallet rack locationAbility to reorganize equipment in various areas for special projects or for Equipment Preps in the perp space.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong ability to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to work in conjunction with other departmentsProficient operation in material handling equipment – including forklifts, power pallet jacks, and all other warehouse equipment.Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment, lighting, rigging, audio and other entertainment technology for live events and broadcast marks.Basic knowledge of equipment packing and understanding of case stacking, storage of truss and other itemsAbility to think analyticallyOrganization and high understanding of spatial organization -including safety related to warehouse storage of equipment.Ability to interact with all warehouse departments and other personalMust be proficient in operation of material handling equipmentMust possess excellent interpersonal, clear verbal and written communication.Must have demonstrated time management skills and be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced multi-task environment with minimal supervision.Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful environment with ability to adapt positively to changes in the work setting with easeMust be able to troubleshoot and execute other job functions with high attention to detailPhysical demandsAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.Availability to work overtime during peak seasonsAbility to lift to 75 pounds on a frequent basisAbility to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching regularlyAbility to work with warehouse and material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and other such equipment.Required education and experience18 years of age or older.Must have a high school diplomaWork experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouseExperience with inventory software.1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse setting with Forklift experienceCertification to operate Forklift and other warehouse material handling equipmentFluency in EnglishEEO and DisclosureThe pay range for this position is estimated to be $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
