Maintenance Manager | Highgate Senior Living – Temecula, CA Compensation:  $34.00–$38.00 per hour

About the role Own community maintenance and life safety programs to keep residents’ homes and shared spaces safe and comfortable. Oversee building systems, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and inspections while providing excellent customer service. What you’ll do Maintain and repair building systems; manage work orders and preventive maintenance Lead life safety program: drills, documentation, and training for team members Coordinate vendors, quotes, and equipment maintenance; track inventory Support room turns, painting, minor plumbing/electrical, and grounds tasks Ensure compliance with housekeeping, infection control, and safety standards Skills & attributes Hand/power tool proficiency; safe work practices Troubleshooting and problem-solving across mechanical systems Clear communication and resident-centered service Organization, documentation, and basic computer skills Ability to prioritize and pivot as needs change Relatable experience Facilities/maintenance in multi-unit residential, hospitality, or healthcare Preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance Vendor management and basic budgeting Qualifications At least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license with qualifying abstract Current negative TB test; able to pass background check Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs with assistance and be on feet throughout shift CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain Time management and independent work ethic Why join Highgate 401(k) with matching Employee referral bonuses Competitive pay: (see above) Full benefits package Growth pathways and internal promotions Positive, inclusive, values-driven culture Join a workplace that values heart, purpose, and community.
