Immediate Hiring | SVP, Senior Product Owner – Retail Risk & CCAR Analytics | Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid) One of the largest institutional bank is seeking an experienced Retail Risk Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of a strategic Loss Forecast Platform supporting CCAR and internal loss forecasting processes. This is a high-impact role focused on driving next‑generation risk analytics and regulatory forecasting capabilities within a complex banking environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Retail Credit Risk, CCAR/DFAST regulatory frameworks, and Agile product delivery while serving as the key bridge between Risk, Finance, Business stakeholders, and Technology teams. This role requires strong product ownership experience, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive delivery of scalable, compliant, and data‑driven risk technology solutions. Location: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 06 Months (Right to Hire) Key Responsibilities: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Loss Forecast Platform aligned with regulatory and business objectives. Partner with Retail Risk, Wealth Risk, Finance, Model Risk, and Technology teams to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements. Translate strategic initiatives into detailed product requirements, epics, and user stories. Manage and maintain a well‑defined product backlog, prioritizing based on business value, regulatory timelines, and technical feasibility. Lead Agile product delivery activities and work closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support UAT activities and ensure delivered solutions meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements. Ensure platform capabilities align with CCAR, DFAST, CECL, SR 11‑7, and internal governance standards. Collaborate with model development and validation teams to support integration of forecasting and risk models into the platform. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging user feedback, analytics, and regulatory updates. Communicate project status, roadmap updates, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Risk Technology within Financial Services. 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting CCAR, DFAST, CECL, or regulatory stress testing initiatives. Strong expertise in Retail Credit Risk, including products such as Credit Cards, Mortgages, and Consumer Lending. Strong understanding of risk modeling concepts including PD, LGD, EAD, and regulatory forecasting processes. Proven experience delivering complex technology platforms in Agile environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams. Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and driving Agile delivery execution. Knowledge of data governance, model risk management, and audit/regulatory requirements. Technical Skills Knowledge of Python, SQL, UI/UX concepts, and regulatory technology platforms. Familiarity with data flows supporting regulatory reporting and risk forecasting processes. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience with AI‑assisted tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
