At Chick-fil-A Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kitchen Shift Leaders play a critical role in delivering exceptional food while leading our Back of House team with excellence. This position is hands-on and fast-paced—you'll run kitchen shifts, develop team members, and ensure every guest receives safe, fresh, high-quality food.

What You'll Do

Kitchen Shift Leaders are responsible for leading the Back of House during daily operations, including:

Leading the kitchen team throughout each shift
Ensuring food is prepared quickly, accurately, and safely
Coaching and developing Team Members in real time
Maintaining Chick-fil-A food safety and sanitation standards
Monitoring food quality, freshness, and presentation
Managing kitchen labor and deployment throughout the shift
Supporting inventory organization and product rotation
Reducing waste through proper portioning and operational discipline
Maintaining clean, organized, and efficient workstations
Communicating clearly with Front of House leadership to ensure smooth operations
Helping create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Previous leadership or restaurant experience preferred
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
High level of accountability and attention to detail
Passion for developing and serving others
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to food safety and operational excellence
Willingness to lead by example and serve wherever needed
