Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. The start must be by a specified date. No holiday requests for time off are permitted. No more than five days of requested time off are allowed. The average patient ratio is 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers will not be assigned to trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units. The facility is a short-term acute care setting with a Level I trauma designation. The total staffed bed count is 1,567. Scrubs color is royal blue. The charting system used is Epic. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is around 30 patients. Total visits per day average around 100. The unit has 16 rooms and beds. Interdisciplinary support services include interpretation services and radiology. Patient diagnoses and care provide a variety of emergency conditions. Travel RN assignments are expected to operate primarily at one campus with the possibility of rotating to others. Pre-approved time off will be managed appropriately. Modules are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and annually, varying by specialty. Reference checks will be required. Candidates must not have returned as travelers within two years. This position focuses on enriching emergency care expertise and supporting diverse patient needs.
