Medical Assistant (BLS Required) – Vascular Surgery

Location: Stuart and Port St Lucie, FL
Job Type: Full-time | Monday–Friday | No weekends

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced vascular surgery office. This is a great opportunity to work closely with providers, gain specialty experience, and be part of a team focused on high-quality patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Room patients and take vital signs, medical history, and medications
• Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Perform wound care and dressing changes as needed
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care
• Document accurately in EMR
• Educate patients and provide instructions

What We’re Looking For

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Medical Assistant experience preferred (specialty or surgical office a plus)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience in vascular, surgical, or specialty practice
• Familiarity with ECW EMR system
