Job Overview
IG3 LLC is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Dock Attendant to join our growing water sports rental operation in Orlando, Florida. This position is responsible for safely launching and retrieving Sea-Doo jet skis, preparing equipment for daily rentals, assisting customers throughout the rental process, and ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
This is an outdoor position requiring professionalism, attention to safety, and the ability to work in all Florida weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely launch and retrieve Sea-Doo jet skis.
- Assist customers with boarding, docking, and loading equipment.
- Perform pre-rental and post-rental inspections.
- Conduct customer safety briefings and explain operating procedures.
- Verify driver's licenses, waivers, and rental documentation.
- Fuel, clean, rinse, and prepare jet skis for the next rental.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dock, rental office, trailers, and equipment.
- Report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers when required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service before, during, and after every rental.
- Follow all company safety policies and emergency procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (Required)
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to swim comfortably
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat, rain, and changing weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourism periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating boats or personal watercraft
- Florida Boater Education Card
- Trailer towing experience
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, marina, or water sports industries
- Spanish or Portuguese
