Lactation Consultant-RN

As a Lactation Consultant, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Job Summary And Qualifications You will monitor and ensure simulation- and education-based technologies are maintained to ensure minimal downtime. You will assess and remedy equipment failures in a timely fashion. You will evaluate simulation- and education-based technology results to identify opportunities for improvement in internal or external customer satisfaction and/or patient experience. You will operate and assist with the simulators and task trainers for all types of training sessions. You will provide orientation, consultation, and support for simulation laboratory procedures. This will include the location and use of materials and operation of equipment. You will identify performance opportunities or training needs related to clinical simulation. You will provide coaching, development, and training to improve performance. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
