Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Ohio Physical Therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation requirements
• Flexibility to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop and execute treatment plans tailored to each child’s goals and IEP objectives
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students both individually and in small groups
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Monitor, track, and document progress while adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or environmental modifications
