Stationed at the main entrances or key access points, the Main Ambassador ensures a welcoming and professional atmosphere, assists with wayfinding, and supports the smooth flow of people throughout the facility. The Main Ambassador helps create a positive first impression while promoting safety, hospitality, and professionalism at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet all patients, visitors, and staff entering the facility in a warm and professional mannerProvide directions and escort assistance as needed to various hospital departmentsAssist with check-in processes or access control when requiredMonitor the lobby or entrance areas to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environmentOffer wheelchair assistance or coordinate patient transport when needed and trained to do soCommunicate with hospital departments and MHS leadership to relay updates or issuesReport any irregularities, safety concerns, or unusual activity promptlyUphold HIPAA and facility privacy standards at all timesMaintain knowledge of hospital layout, departments, and visitor policiesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications and RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED6+ months of experience in a customer-facing or healthcare role preferredMust be able to work legally in the United StatesMust pass background and drug screeningsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, friendly, and professional demeanorRequired to meet immunization or health screening requirementsAble to speak, read, and write English fluentlyPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, see, and hearMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionallyMust be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distancesFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Metropolitian Healthcare Services, Inc.
