CMM Inspector (GD&T / AS9102)

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced CMM Inspector specializing in GD&T and AS9102 to join their client's exceptional team in California. The role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of precision measurement and inspection processes.

Responsibilities:

• Performing thorough inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and ensuring compliance with GD&T standards.
• Conducting AS9102 first article inspections and reporting on findings.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to assess the quality of components and assemblies.
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation for all inspected parts.
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Ensuring all inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CMM Inspector with expertise in GD&T and AS9102.
• Strong understanding of precision measurement and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using inspection software and tools.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details:

Pay range: $30 - $40 per hour.
