Exciting Opportunity for an Emergency Department RN!

Job Description:


- Work schedule: 7p-7a, 13-week assignment
- 36-hour guarantee
- Current NYS RN license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience with MEDITECH is a must
- Travel experience is essential

Qualifications:


- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Critical Care and charge experience
- Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- In-depth knowledge of nursing principles and patient care
- Capable of assessing patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Awareness of safety issues for self and others
- Competent in the use of lifts for patient movement

Skills Required:


- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in stressful situations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
- May assume charge nurse duties as needed
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in written and verbal communication

Additional Requirements:


- Complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
- Defibrillation certification within six months of employment
- Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
