Commercial Auction Assistant

We are looking for a dynamic full-time individual to help keep our office running smoothly. If you are tech savvy, have superb attention to detail, a knack for organization, work well in a team environment or solo, follow verbal and written direction, self-starter, positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and can juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment, we’d like to talk to you! Our ideal candidate is a computer-proficient individual that is always ready to help.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering bidder questions: By phone and email.
- Setup, Update, Bill & Settle Auctions : Applications used include Wavebid, Excel, Google Drive, Proxibid & Auction Flex. Excel knowledge essential, accounting knowledge helpful.
- Edit Catalogs: Editing text with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy in describing items.
- Upload, Edit & Arrange Photos: Editing photos to provide accurate and clear visual of items. Though not required, an artistic eye is often helpful.
- Daily Tasks: including but not limited to, emails, communications, updating/creating job folders, ads sheets, forms, auctions on multiple platforms and/or software, tracking jobs & expenses.
- Occasional Out of Office Work: May involve longer days, travel in company vehicle, work in varied environments, and lifting under 50lbs.
- Shipping: Done offsite in Williston following a live auction.
Required Qualifications
- High level of organization
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter and ability to work efficiently, independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions if needed, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Computer Proficiency/Competent typing capability
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check
