Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 26-Week Assignment | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | Expected 36 hours/week (72 hours biweekly; on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour monitoring and advanced nursing care for patients in a high-acuity cardiothoracic intensive care unit
• Care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries
• Manage patients with severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Level 1 Trauma facility environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2–3 years of total RN experience, with at least 2 years in a CT/CVICU setting
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility required
• Proficiency with EPIC required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative care following complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
