MUST HAVE CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (60 hours) certitifcation from credited school Shifts: 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm Benefits Competitive salary earn up to $21.25 an hour Pickup Bonus $25 per 4 hours Perfect Attendance Bonus Medical, Dental & Vision plans Retirement 401K Savings Plan Generous Vacation Plan Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement Internal growth opportunities Referral bonus Positive work environment Regular staff appreciation and recognition Job Description Assess the residents’ needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans Assure quality care is delivered through the utilization of CMA processes and guidelines Identify and communicate changes in residents’ status to physicians, staff, and family members Administer medications, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated Communicate appropriate information to all staff to provide a smooth shift transition Report any suspected abuse to appropriate authority Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchair Qualifications Certified Medication Aide for the State of Iowa (60 hour class) Current CPR certification Pillar of Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
