School Clerk-Bookkeeper
Performs a variety of clerical activities related to the function of the assigned school site and/or program. Applies principals of accounting to initiate payment for vendors. Maintains verification through balancing of the check register and cash requirements.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community. High integrity, excellent character, and good professional reputation. Previous K12 clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities preferred. Previous bookkeeping or financial experience preferred. Experience with CSI (SmartFusion) software preferred.
At least two professional references are required for those applicants that have not previously worked with Butts County Schools.
