A hairstylist provides tailored hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients, ensuring a pleasant and professional experience. Working independently, the stylist consults with clients to understand their needs, recommends suitable products, and maintains high standards of sanitation and customer service.
Part-time, commission onlyposition, Saturday, Sunday required, plus flexible weekday.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services
- Conduct client consultations to assess hair care needs
- Recommend and offer appropriate hair care products for purchase
- Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Manage appointment scheduling effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional hairstyling experience
- Cosmetology certification or diploma
- Valid state cosmetology license
- Strong skills in hair cutting and coloring
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices
- Product knowledge and sales aptitude
- Effective communication and time management
- Attention to detail in all services performed
