Patient-Focused Care

\n

Our Patient-Focused Care initiative employs a dual approach to address both the medical and behavioral aspects of opioid dependence. This Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) utilizes Methadone or Buprenorphine (also known as Suboxone) to manage a patient’s physical reliance on Opioids, complemented by collaborative Behavioral Counseling to address psychological dependence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

\n

We are currently seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine. The ideal candidate is a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and will be a valuable addition to our team.

Location
Drivable Distance to Atlanta, Georgia - Specific Site Details will be given upon screening interested candidates. \n

Key Responsibilities of the Program Director include:

• Optimizing clinical and financial outcomes
\n
• Overseeing the daily operations of an opiate treatment program
\n
• Ensuring operational effectiveness
\n
• Addressing urgent and emergent issues related to the treatment center outside of regular office hours
\n
• Managing treatment center revenue collection to meet target rates and controlling expenditures within budgeted allocations
\n

\n QUALIFICATIONS

\n

• A proven track record of success in a professional clinical or medical setting
\n
• A highly motivated, self-starting, and quick-learning disposition
\n
• A history of exceeding client/team expectations
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities

• Superior decision-making and problem-solving capabilities

• A commitment to maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meticulousness
\n
• Proficiency in problem analysis and evaluation
\n
• Effective time management skills
\n
• ABAM Certification or Eligibility
\n

Essential Requirements

\n

\n
• Must hold a license to practice medicine or osteopathy in Georgia.
\n
• Three years of documented experience in providing services to individuals with alcohol or other drug addictions, with one year of experience in opioid treatment.
\n
• Board Eligible or certified and preferable two years of documented experience in treating individuals with alcohol or other drug addictions.
\n
• Board Certification in addiction medicine  and preferably fellowship trained.
\n
