Evaluates the participant's nutritional status, develops and implements nutritional care plans, assesses nutrient requirements, recommends nutritional prescriptions, evaluates participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care, and communicates nutritional data and information to the physicians and other health professionals.BonusThis Registered Dietitian position is bonus eligible, follow this link for details.Essential FunctionsAll team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Be the difference.Responsible for nutritional assessments and reassessments as indicated by nutrition standards.Provides nutrition education to participants, caregivers, staff and community as ordered by physician and according to ADA standards.Documents participant changes appropriately in the medical record and communicates participant changes to team members.Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Attends staff meetings and takes part in participant care planning.Responsible to ensure services related to dietary needs of participants is available 24 hours per day, as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.Minimum RequirementsEducation - Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)Experience - One (1) year of experience with the frail or elderly populationIn Lieu OfIf hired on or prior to December 31, 2023, must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics AND Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)Required Certifications, Registrations, LicensesADA registeredCDE or CDE eligible in 24 monthsRegistered Dietitian state licensure (i.e.: SC LLR)Registered Dietitian licensure from the CDRA valid driver's license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)Proficient computer skills (word processing)Data entry skillsMathematical skillsWork ShiftDay (United States of America)LocationCentennial Way PracticesFacilitySeniorCare PACE - UpstateDepartmentAdministrative and GeneralShare your talent with us!
