Our Values Integrity and innovation in every engagement Promoting amazing candidate and employee experiences Building best practices to help organizations grow Fostering talent and mentoring junior recruiters Commitment to diversity and inclusion Job Description Build Your BCBA Career Around What Matters Most: Clinical Impact McCulloh Consulting is partnering with a growing, highly respected pediatric behavioral health organization in Metro Detroit to identify talented Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for multiple outstanding opportunities in the Taylor area. This is an opportunity for a BCBA who wants to spend more time practicing high-quality behavior analysis and less time managing administrative tasks that pull clinicians away from their clients. This role is intentionally built in an infrastructure centered around its clinicians that includes dedicated scheduling, billing, recruiting, training, quality-control, administrative, and clinical support teams. The goal is simple: give clinicians the resources they need to focus on treatment quality, client progress, family relationships, team development, and meaningful outcomes. If you are looking for a BCBA opportunity where you can practice with autonomy while still having substantial support around you, this could be an excellent next step. Why This BCBA Opportunity Stands Out Being a BCBA already comes with significant clinical responsibility. You should not also have to function as the scheduler, recruiter, billing specialist, administrative coordinator, and quality-control department. In this position, you will be surrounded by specialized teams designed to remove many of those administrative barriers. Dedicated Scheduling Support A centralized scheduling team helps keep client treatment schedules consistent and organized. Instead of spending your clinical time tracking down appointments, filling cancellations, or managing every scheduling detail yourself, you can remain focused on your clients and your clinical team. Documentation and Quality Support A dedicated quality-control team partners with clinicians to review reports, strengthen documentation, provide training, and help maintain high clinical and regulatory standards. You receive support rather than simply being handed documentation expectations and expected to navigate them alone. Dedicated Billing Support A billing team handles claim submission and reimbursement-related administrative functions. That means your primary responsibility remains clinical care—not chasing insurance claims. Strong Day-to-Day Administrative Support BCBAs work alongside a broader support structure that may include: Administrative professionals Clinical leadership Recruiting and training teams This allows clinicians to spend more time developing staff, analyzing treatment data, collaborating with families, and improving outcomes. What You Will Do As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide clinical leadership and behavioral expertise while helping children and families make meaningful, measurable progress. Your responsibilities will include assessment, treatment planning, staff supervision, family collaboration, data analysis, clinical decision-making, and ongoing treatment modification. Behavioral Assessment You will conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments designed to identify behavioral function and guide treatment development. You will use assessment findings to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment recommendations. Behavior Intervention Planning You will prepare individualized written Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and other treatment protocols based on clinical findings. Treatment Implementation and Supervision You will implement and supervise the ongoing implementation of treatment programs and Behavior Intervention Plans. This includes ensuring clinical procedures are carried out accurately, consistently, ethically, and in accordance with individualized treatment goals. Behavior Technician Supervision and Development BCBAs play an important role in developing the clinical skills of Behavior Technicians and other members of the treatment team. You will provide: Clinical direction Performance feedback Treatment modeling Skills training Protocol clarification Ongoing coaching Case-specific instruction The goal is not simply to supervise employees—it is to help build confident, capable clinicians who understand why interventions are being implemented and how those interventions contribute to client progress. Family and Caregiver Training ABA treatment is most effective when caregivers understand the treatment approach and have strategies they can use outside the clinic. Data Analysis and Treatment Modification You will continuously monitor client data to determine whether treatment is producing meaningful progress. Risk Identification and Clinical Collaboration When client behaviors create potential safety, ethical, clinical, or risk-management concerns, you will collaborate with appropriate clinical and operational leadership. Interdisciplinary Collaboration You may participate in treatment team meetings, client meetings, caregiver conferences, and other collaborative discussions either in person or virtually. Data Collection Systems You will assist in developing, implementing, and improving data collection systems that allow treatment teams to accurately evaluate client progress. Clinical Documentation You will maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational requirements as well as applicable. Documentation may include treatment plans, progress reports, supervision records, assessments, parent training documentation, clinical notes, and other required records. Privacy, Ethics, and Compliance You will maintain strict adherence to professional ethics, organizational policies, HIPAA requirements, privacy requirements, compliance standards, and applicable federal and state regulations. BCBAs are expected to consistently practice within the ethical framework established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Your Impact There are countless places where a BCBA can work. We believe the more important question is: Where can you do your best work? The right environment gives clinicians enough independence to practice effectively while surrounding them with enough support that they are not carrying every administrative responsibility alone. In this role, your expertise helps children develop meaningful communication, adaptive, social, behavioral, and life skills. Your coaching helps Behavior Technicians become stronger clinicians. Your collaboration helps families feel more confident. Your clinical decisions help treatment teams become more effective. And your leadership can directly influence the long-term trajectory of the children and families you serve. Take the Next Step If you became a BCBA because you wanted to help children and families—not because you wanted to spend your day chasing schedules, billing questions, and administrative tasks, we would like to speak with you. McCulloh Consulting is looking for clinicians who want strong clinical support, competitive compensation, professional development, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected characteristics. Reasonable accommodations are available throughout the recruiting and interview process in accordance with applicable law. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Master's degree in behavior analysis or another qualifying field accepted under applicable BACB requirements Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles Knowledge of current BACB ethical standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage clinical responsibilities Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret behavioral data and make evidence-based clinical decisions Preferred Clinical Experience Candidates with previous experience implementing or supervising a variety of ABA methodologies are especially encouraged to apply. Experience may include: Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Errorless Learning Pivotal Response Training (PRT) Functional Communication Training Differential Reinforcement Contingency Management Verbal Behavior programming Skill acquisition programming Behavior reduction programming Parent and caregiver training Functional Behavior Assessment Functional Analysis Staff supervision Experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental needs is strongly preferred. Who We Are Looking For Loves practicing behavior analysis but wants stronger operational support Wants to spend less time on administrative tasks Values collaboration with families Wants flexibility without sacrificing clinical quality Appreciates having dedicated recruiting, scheduling, billing, and administrative teams Wants opportunities for professional development Is interested in future leadership opportunities Wants to work for an organization investing significantly in its clinicians Believes treatment decisions should be driven by data Wants to make a measurable difference in the lives of children and families Salary Range:$85,000–$92,000 annually In addition to base compensation, BCBAs may also qualify for a monthly bonus structure with the opportunity to earn up to approximately $8,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, clinical background, and other relevant factors. Work-life balance looks different for every clinician. Four-day / 10-hour workweek options Opportunities to complete eligible administrative responsibilities outside traditional treatment hours A robust benefits package designed to support clinicians professionally, financially, and personally.
