Quality Manager

Quality & Food Safety Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a Quality & Food Safety Supervisor to support USP compliance, laboratory operations, quality systems, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a backup to site Quality leadership and helps ensure product safety, quality, integrity, and compliance with USP and FDA regulations. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with USP standards, GMPs, and regulatory requirements. Support customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Assist with regulatory and customer audits. Oversee USP laboratory testing, product release, and GLP programs. Review and maintain SOPs, COAs, quality records, and compliance documentation. Coordinate USP testing schedules and validation studies. Monitor quality trends and support reporting requirements. Supervise and schedule USP laboratory personnel. Support training programs and promote a strong quality culture. Manage laboratory supplies and equipment needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related scientific field. 2+ years of experience in a USP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing or quality laboratory environment. Knowledge of 21 CFR 210, 21 CFR 211, ICH Q7, and related GMP regulations. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with audits, validation programs, CAPA investigations, and quality systems. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and product quality. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Saline, TX.
