Freight Broker Job in Spokane: TDR is a family-owned trucking company that understands the fast-paced nature of the industry. Position Overview: We are looking to expand with experienced candidates that can be a part of a team atmosphere. This is not an entry level position and requires knowledge of the industry as well as a customer base to make an immediate impact. All other questions will be answered in the interview process. Responsibilities: Managing a current book of business Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers Handle day to day customer service responsibilities Establish customer business and oversee account management processes Upsell and retain customers Build relationships with owner-operators to further service business as needed Negotiate rates Source carriers Generate sales leads Track load status Qualifications Freight industry experience is a must Logistics 1 year (Preferred) Freight Experience 1 year (Preferred) High school or equivalent 1-2+ years of prior experience in a sales-related role Excellent negotiation and communication skills Computer Skills Pay Competitive base salary plus future incentives based on productivity -$50,000 – $250,000 a year Benefits Vacation and sick leave Paid holidays Flexible Schedule Generous Performance Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
