American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring an AZ or compact license and on-call availability.

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
Patient diagnoses include CAD, AMI, CHF, and PAD
Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call requirement of approximately 15-16 days within a 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
Uses Meditech charting system
Locals accepted at the same rate

Active AZ or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Meditech charting experience highly preferred
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations
Experience with PCI, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and rotablator atherectomy
Skilled in procedural sedation monitoring, sheath removal, vascular closure systems, and topical hemostasis
Proficient in 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition and cardioversion
Experience with IV therapy, infusion pumps, and administration of emergency and vasoactive medications
Knowledge of radiation and laser safety protocols

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI and vascular studies
Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and procedural sedation using end-tidal CO2 monitoring
Participate in electrophysiology procedures and cardioversion
Holiday coverage required
Travel pairs accepted
Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
RTO should be kept to a minimum at time of consideration
Monday orientation scheduled for new assignment start
