RN CVICU-PedsJob Title: RN CVICU-Peds Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU-Peds Duration: 13 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: 18-month minimum Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required. Nurse to Patient Ratio by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU in overflow unit. Description: Provide care in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU and overflow unit. Manage cases involving congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and VAD. Care for patients ranging from neonatal to young adult, including occasional adult patients with congenital heart disease. Demonstrate proficiency in administering life-saving measures as required. Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards of care. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
