Job Description :

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS MANDATORY

• Bachelor's degree in physical sciences or engineering.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS NICE TO HAVE

• No additional education/certification requirement is stated beyond the mandatory degree and PMP-or-similar requirement.

WORK EXPERIENCE MANDATORY

• At least 7 years of relevant program/project management experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE NICE TO HAVE

• Navy/NOSSA program and business management experience; management of sustainment, development, modernization, networking, security, cloud, or automation efforts; MS Project experience.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead overall program and task-order management and coordinate with Navy/NOSSA stakeholders.
• Develop and refine management processes supporting sustainment, development, and modernization.
• Plan and report project milestones using Microsoft Project and other program-management tools.
• Assess level of effort, balance tasks, develop work plans, and perform project risk analysis.
• Work with warfare center leaders to identify, plan, and implement projects and capability improvements.
• Support strategic plans, reviews, action plans, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Identify systemic improvements, recommend changes, and enforce applicable policies and procedures.

TRAVEL DETAILS

CONUS travel as required to Navy/customer sites, including Indian Head, Norfolk/Portsmouth, Patuxent River, China Lake, Crane, Pensacola, Fort Worth, Bremerton, St. Louis, San Jose, Orange County, Savannah, Allegany Ballistics Lab, and McAlester. Travel requires Government approval and follows JTR.
