Senior Scientific Director, Oncology Clinical Development (NHL & Leukemia)

Senior Scientific Director leading oncology clinical development programs for non-Hodgkin lymphoma and leukemia at AbbVie. Oversees design, implementation, and scientific interpretation of complex clinical trials while managing cross-functional teams and regulatory strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of multiple oncology clinical development programs aligned with product strategy
- Oversee study integrity, data review, safety/efficacy interpretation, and communication across teams
- Own scientific content development for protocols, regulatory submissions, and clinical study reports
- Serve as in-house clinical expert for assigned molecules and diseases; coordinate stakeholder activities
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sciences; advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred
- At least 8 years of pharmaceutical clinical trial experience or equivalent
- Ability to independently manage complex clinical research programs
- Proven cross-functional leadership and influence skills on global teams
- Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements
- Strong oral and written English communication abilities
- Expertise in clinical strategy development and study protocol design
