Speech and Language Pathologist (In-Person Part-Time/Full-Time)

Temporary Speech Language Pathologist

Temporary position, coverage for a leave of absence. IN-PERSON services only. Placement on SLP salary schedule based on prior experience.

Job Description / Essential Elements:

Provide an individualized program to meet the needs of students with speech, language, hearing and communication delays.

Implement state and local eligibility criteria for caseload selection.

Serve as a resource and assist families and staff in observing, describing, and referring students with suspected and/or identified communication delays.

Assist in referrals of students to agencies and specialists as appropriate.

Serve as a member of the SST and IEP teams as appropriate.

Monitor student progress toward communication goals and objectives.

Maintain required reports, records, and legal documents.

Requirements / Qualifications:

SELECTION CRITERIA

Relevant Credential or Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech Therapy

Intern / Emergency / Temporary permits may be considered

Successful experience working in speech pathology

SELECTION PROCEDURE

interviews for qualified candidates will take place now through May, 2025

knowledge of educational techniques, tests, materials, methods, theories, and trends in identifying, assessing, and instructing students with communication delays

knowledge of and experience with practical application of principals, practices, methods, and strategies applicable to target group students.
