The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Guest Services Intern to join our talented team in Summer 2027! Application requirements Applicants are required to upload a copy of their resume; a supplemental statement (one paragraph max.) expressing their interest in a Four Seasons internship is not required, but highly preferred Applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate/graduate school Applicants must have valid work authorization for the U.S. About the Internship Department: Guest Services Approximate Service Dates: May 2027 – August 2027 Scheduled hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week, Eight-to-Ten hour shifts – scheduled days and times may vary based on need; open availability required Monday-Sunday What you will do Basic Purpose: The Guest Services Intern assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels. Creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, residential, restaurant, and banquet guests. Assists Valet team with parking and retrieving vehicles. Arranges transportation for guests. Assures that guests’ departure is swift and complete. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greet guests and escort them to their rooms. Deliver luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintain proper records of deliveries and pick-ups Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Greet all guest passing through lobby and offer them assistance Assist Valet team with parking and retrieving vehicles Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors Perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property Maintain cleanliness of the lobby by fixing pillows in guest seating areas, taking removing glassware, alerting housekeeping of cleaning needs, and polishing glassware for front office What you bring A minimum three months of working experience in hospitality or customer service industry preferred Educational studies toward a degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field preferred A valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language Working knowledge of and ability to operate technology and computer systems A genuine passion for hospitality and desire to be the best!
