Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Location Atlanta, GA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a high-acuity Medical/Surgical floor serving surgical, trauma, and complex patient populations including gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care across assigned caseload Collaborate with ED nurses and admitting staff to complete structured nurse handoffs upon patient admission Coordinate with unit support staff including nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries to ensure continuity of care Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required Must be available to work assigned shifts; block scheduling is not available No time-off requests (RTO) can be accommodated during the contract period Preferred Experience / Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Prior experience with high-acuity surgical or trauma patient populations Experience caring for patients with spinal cord injuries or complex mobility limitations Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment with a diverse and complex patient population Supportive unit structure with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries to assist with patient care Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 792076.
