Job Details: Job Location: Hendrick Manufacturing - Carbondale, PA 18407, Job Category: Manufacturing, BASIC FUNCTION: Under direct supervision, welds metal parts together. MAJOR DUTIES: Performs simple, routine, and repetitive welding tasks. Uses standard procedures, tools and equipment. Welds components and parts from standard materials. Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: General knowledge of welding techniques, tools, equipment, and blueprint reading is preferred. Ability to read precision measuring tools is required. Skills may be gained through practical experience and/or on-the-job training. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 75 pounds) will be required. All welders must install 60 pounds spools of wire on own welding equipment, as necessary. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: All work will be done in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with Company policies, priorities and needs. The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.
