Corporate Accountant

Real Estate or Private Equity experience Multi-entity experiences is a must, international experience is a plus Experience with foreign currency exchange Manage daily accounting and cash activities Monitor bank account activity and maintain accurate cash logs. Record check deposits and other transactions in Sage Intacct. Prepare intercompany invoices and record related payments in Sage Intacct. Keep payroll schedules current and accurate. Maintain Japanese tax withholding rate schedules. Prepare and update cash-versus-accrual schedules. Review and approve financial activity Review weekly wire transactions. Review and process wire edits as needed. Collect and review employee timesheets. Update quarterly time-allocation schedules. Record GP allocation payments in Sage Intacct. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting Review the financial statements of subsidiary entities. Review the general ledger to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and appropriately. Translate financial statements for foreign entities. Prepare financial statements for GP entities. Manage GP capital-related activities Prepare and distribute GP drawdown and distribution notices. Maintain year-to-date and inception-to-date partner capital and tax schedules. Keep GP member records and information up to date. Assist with additional accounting and finance projects Prepare applicable annual tax forms for GP members. Participate in special projects and other ad-hoc accounting initiatives as needed. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a higher-level or professional accounting role. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field. CPA certification is preferred. Experience working with Sage Intacct is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
