Machine Operator (3rd shift)

Location: 1070 Samuelson Street, City of Industry, California 91748 – Shift: 8am–3pm (3rd Shift, United States). Job Responsibilities Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies. Demonstrate punctuality and adhere to the work schedule. Work effectively as part of a One Team Cross Functional attitude, collaborating with others. Participate in continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant. Adhere to company general manufacturing policies and corporate and plant safety standards. Keep the work area clutter‑free, clean, and organized. Operate blow‑mold/PET/injection molding machines (including wheels, reciprocating, and shuttle machines) to produce quality bottles. Follow blow‑mold process procedures and quality‑control guidelines. Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests, and conduct audits, weight checks, and quality checks. Make adjustments to meet product specifications and troubleshoot production issues. Perform minor repairs on blow‑mold and support equipment and immediately report abnormalities, defects and quality issues. Monitor and replenish packaging‑material supplies as needed. Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging per customer requirements. Move finished goods to designated areas. Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds and line efficiencies. Prepare maintenance‑request forms and document equipment repairs. Follow instructions from Lead Operator or Supervisor and apply professional judgment on unusual problems. Perform other duties as assigned by management; duties may vary by plant. Work reasonable mandatory overtime as required by business needs. Qualifications Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer experience. Experience with blow moulding. High school diploma or GED preferred. Training Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date. Physical Demands Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, grasp, handle, and use hands and arms. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Frequently required to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Working area includes moving mechanical parts, high noise levels, temperature fluctuations, and required personal protective equipment.
