Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology-aligned with set protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Document all processes meticulously, train new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
