Warehouse Team Lead

Warehouse AssociateAssist in proper staffing for all areas by sending employees home when necessary due to lack of work. Work with the Training & Inventory Coordinator to organize all training for workers (both existing and new hires) within the warehouse area.Oversees the movement of material throughout the plant to assure inventory accuracy.Directs and coordinates warehouse staff to supply parts and items for Production team.Work with their Manager on developing improvements to streamline warehouse inventory quantities, along with improving layout of warehouse that provides an efficient part pulling system.Orders and maintains all pallets and crates. Manage scrap reports, removal of inventory, and initiate the pickup of scrap.Performs misc. duties in the absence of the warehouse Supervisor.Ability to use a forklift or hand truck.Can involve lifting up to 50 lbs.Interpersonal skills, team working skills and good communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent.3-5 years' experience in a Warehouse pick/pull environment required.Associates degree preferred.Vertiv recognizes that veterans and an individual with a disability may require an accommodation to enable them to successfully perform a job function.
