Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:3rd Shift: $2.25/hourWeekend: $1.75/hourOverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses AssistantOther Licenses/Certifications: CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patientsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
