Looking for a locum assignment with a manageable patient census, Epic EMR, and expedited credentialing? This is a great short-term opportunity in Kentucky!

Coverage Dates: August 6, 2026 (8:00 AM) August 10, 2026 (8:00 AM)

Practice Details:

• Inpatient hospitalist coverage
• Adult patient population (approximately 50% geriatric)
• Average 14 patients per day
• Level IV hospital
• Coverage includes the hospital medical unit and a 1-bed ICU
• Respond to occasional calls from the nursing home
• Epic EMR
• No teaching responsibilities

Schedule & Call:

• Onsite coverage from 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Beeper/phone call coverage when off-site
• Minimal callback burden
• Reason for coverage: Provider vacation
• Emergency credentialing and temporary privileges available

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Kentucky Medical License ACLS & BLS Certifications Active DEA Clean malpractice, license, and background history (required for temporary privileges) Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
