Accounting Manager

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations and support the continued development of its finance function. This is a hands-on leadership position combining technical accounting, month-end close, team management, and process improvement. Responsibilities Oversee general ledger and day-to-day accounting activities. Manage portions of the close process and review journal entries and reconciliations. Oversee AP and other assigned accounting functions. Maintain strong accounting controls and processes. Support financial reporting and variance analysis. Assist with internal and external audits. Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members. Partner with other departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Active CPA preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong GAAP, general ledger, close, and internal-controls knowledge. Experience reviewing accounting work prepared by staff. Strong Excel and systems proficiency. Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a growing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
