Atomic Transport is seeking a motivated and highly organized Sales Coordinator to support our Business Development and Analytics teams at our corporate office in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This position will play an important role in helping Atomic identify new business opportunities, develop prospective customer relationships, maintain an active sales pipeline, and support the continued growth of our organization. The Sales Coordinator will assist with prospecting, market research, customer outreach, meeting coordination, contract review, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and public records requests, and other activities that support our business development efforts.

The ideal candidate is professional, confident communicating by telephone and email, comfortable conducting research, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Support the Business Development and Analytics teams in identifying and developing new business opportunities.

· Research prospective customers, markets, municipalities, contracts, and potential business opportunities.

· Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to prospective customers and business contacts.

· Assist with building, organizing, and maintaining a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.

· Schedule customer meetings, conference calls, presentations, and other business development activities.

· Prepare meeting materials, presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and follow-up communications.

· Assist with reviewing contracts, bid documents, RFPs, and other business-related documentation for key information, deadlines, and requirements.

Research and submit Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and other public records requests to obtain information relevant to potential business opportunities and market analysis.

· Track submitted information requests and maintain organized records of responses and supporting documentation.

· Assist with researching competitors, existing contracts, market activity, pricing information, and potential customers.

· Maintain accurate and organized customer, prospect, and opportunity information.

· Coordinate follow-up activities resulting from sales meetings, calls, and business development initiatives.

· Work closely with the Analytics team to gather and organize information needed to evaluate potential markets and opportunities.

· Provide administrative and project support to the Business Development team as needed.

· Handle business and customer information with professionalism and appropriate confidentiality.

· Perform other duties and special projects that support Atomics' growth and business objectives.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

· Previous experience in sales support, business development, customer service, administrative support, research, or a related professional environment preferred.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Professional and confident telephone presence with the ability to communicate effectively with prospective customers, government agencies, business partners, and internal leaders.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to research information from multiple sources and organize findings in a clear and useful manner.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up activities simultaneously.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

· Comfortable learning new technology, systems, and research tools.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.

· Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency when supporting business opportunities.

The successful Sales Coordinator will help keep opportunities moving forward. This individual will ensure prospects are researched, calls are made, meetings are scheduled, information is

gathered, deadlines are tracked, and the Business Development team has the information and support needed to pursue new business effectively.

This is a key support position for Atomics' continued growth. The work performed in this role will directly contribute to building new markets, strengthening our sales pipeline, and creating future opportunities for the organization.
