Software Development Manager, Managed Streaming Kafka (MSK)

The Software Development Manager will lead an engineering team for Amazon MSK, a fully managed service that helps customers process streaming data using Apache Kafka. This role requires enthusiasm for data streaming and applying open source technologies to address customer business needs at AWS scale.The SDM will be required to build a High-Performing & Inclusive Team. The on-call rotation occurs once every 2-3 months as builder-operators of AWS services.*Technical Leadership*Lead your team in building and operating Apache Kafka to build the best in cloud Kafka experience. Partner with the open source community to define features and roadmap. Integrate emerging open-source technologies at AWS scale. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
