School Nurse

Provide comprehensive health services to students in a school setting, ensuring timely care and emergency response while maintaining accurate health records and collaborating with staff to promote wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive school health services to students.
• Assess and manage student health concerns, including emergencies.
• Maintain health records and ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote health and wellness programs.
• Educate students on healthy habits and disease prevention.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and nursing degree or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of school nursing or pediatric healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clearance of a clean background check.
• Ability to work day shifts and physically assist students.
• Submission of SC SLED form.
