FORNSAT Systems Administrator (Annapolis Junction, MD) Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance. Telework: None Basic Requirements At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support Within the last 7 years, at least 3 of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications Job Description Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP. To be considered for this position, candidates must understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission essential TTO and be able to support varying schedules at times to ensure mission coverage. We do our best to schedule around individual preferences, however candidates must be flexible with shift schedules. Shifts range from day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145) and mid shift (2145-0545) including weekends and holidays. Required Experience Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line FORNSAT experience is required Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration Basic troubleshooting experience Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordinglyFamiliarity with commercial SATCOM technologies Desired Experience Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450) Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451) Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python) Familiarity with Apache NiFi Basic knowledge of network protocols Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
