Medical Laboratory Scientist

Description Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour variable shifts. Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Gold Plus Achievement Award for its exceptional stroke care. Its Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, clerical duties, and patient care support services. The CLS provides service in one or more laboratory sections with a high level of accuracy, precision, and timeliness, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license upon hire. 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory in your area of responsibility.
