About the Role:

Fine Fettle is seeking a Cultivation Technician at our cutting-edge, 40,000 square foot production facility in Bloomfield, CT. A Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our Production facility. This role involves monitoring plant health, managing growth cycles, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis cultivation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

• Monitor and maintain plant health, including watering, feeding, pruning, and training plants.
• Identify and report any signs of disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.
• Assist with the cloning, transplanting, and harvesting processes.
• Accurately record data related to plant growth, health, and production.
• Ensure all cultivation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with harvesting plants at the appropriate time to maximize yield and potency.
• Participate in the drying, trimming, bucking and curing processes to prepare cannabis for packaging.
• Work closely with the production teams to meet production goals and timelines.
• This position regularly utilizes standard office equipment, technology, and software applications.
• Perform all tasks set by management in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsibilities may evolve to align with the dynamic needs of the facility, offering opportunities for learning, growth, and adaptability.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Be 18 or older and willing to commute to Connecticut for this career opportunity
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive, professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 Pounds consistently, and must be able to bend, squat, reach, kneel, walk, etc.
• Ability to meet and maintain all applicable state-mandated licensing requirements as a condition of employment
• Ability to pass a Federal Background Check with no felony convictions

Critical Competencies:

• Passion for the cannabis industry and commitment to producing high-quality products
• Familiarity with state and federal cannabis laws
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 12 years of indoor cultivation or comparable experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with harvesting and post-harvest activities like Drying, Curing, Trimming, Packaging, etc.
• Cleanliness, GMP familiarity

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Normal Production environment
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Frequent bending and moving from sitting to standing and reverse
