St. Clare Commons has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

In this role, you will use your clinical experience and leadership abilities to support nursing operations, guide team members, strengthen infection prevention practices, and help ensure our residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

What Youll Do

• Develop and implement an ongoing infection prevention and control program to prevent, recognize, and control the onset and spread of infections, providing residents with a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill occupational health and safety requirements, including employee health.
• Ensure public health authorities are notified of reportable diseases.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with the Nursing Departments day-to-day functions in accordance with federal, state, and organizational rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Attend committee meetings as assigned.
• Assist in the management of nursing staff.
• Complete nursing care functions for the facility.

Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements

• Required Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing. At least three years of Registered Nurse geriatric nursing experience. Must have at least two years of Registered Nurse management experience in a long-term care setting.

• Required Licensure and Certifications: Registered Nurse with current unencumbered license in the state of employment. Currently certified in CPR.

• Preferred Licensure and Certification: Certified as a Gerontology Nurse.
