Position Overview

This position requires a dedicated and skilled professional with a Respiratory Care Practitioners License. The successful candidate will work a Night 3x12-Hour shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role
Charge Experience: Previous experience in a charge role preferred
Patient Ratio Experience: Experience with a patient ratio of 1:2 for adults and 1:1 for pediatrics
Charting System: Experience with Epic required
Certifications:
- BLS
- RPSGT
- RRT
- SDS
- RPSGT or RRT with SDS
Required Skills:
- End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
- Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT)
- Baseline Sleep Polysomnography
- BiPAP
- CPAP
- Oxygen administration
- PSG scoring
- Respiratory Events monitoring
- Patient education
- And others as listed in the job specification

Working Conditions

The role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit provides interdisciplinary support and caters to a dynamic patient population.

Important Notes

Candidates must be prepared to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as required.
